I work on quant systems, LLM pipelines, and applied research.
About
Most of the work I take on sits between two rooms: the one where a model gets built and the one where someone has to decide what to do about it. At USC that meant pairing a B.S. in Business Administration at Marshall with an M.S. at the Iovine and Young Academy, which is a design and technology program. I wanted the engineering vocabulary without giving up the business side.
Lattice is the project I care most about right now: helping R&D teams move faster on patents and compounds. The rest of my time goes to the Marshall Behavioral Lab, where I test what LLMs can and cannot be trusted with on research data, and BlackGen, where a signal has to survive an investment committee before it counts.

A summer on a wealth team managing billions in client assets. Most of my work was research and portfolio mechanics: screening holdings, running the tax-loss and rebalancing math, and writing it up so an advisor could take it to a client.
